Aliens versus Predator 2 is the sequel to the legendary suprise hit Aliens versus Predator. It has the same premise of the three races and expands the general gameplay only slightly. The graphics and effects were raised to today's standard, but do not mingle among the best. The creators did not pass up any orgy of blood and - as partly already shown in the predecessor - actions which definitely are not suitable for children. Despite the high splattercontent AvP 2 is an extremely fast-paced, thrilling and atmoshperic game. el.
Conclusion: The game is highly recommendable for those that can stand lots of blood!
In single-player you can choose between three parties (Marines, Aliens oder Predators) who each has a unique species-campaign.
In multiplayer there are gamevariants available like Team, Co-Op, Deathmatch, etc.. However not all species have all variants.
Required hardware (minimum!):
Microsoft Windows 98/Me/2000, DirectX 8+, Pentium III 450 MHz+, 128+ MB RAM, Direct3D compatible 3D-accelerator with min. 16 MB , 4+ -times CD-ROM-drive, 750+ MB hard drive, DirectX-compatible 16-bit soundcard, for multiplayer as well DirectPlay or TCP/IP-support and connection via modem, internet or direct-link for up to 16 players.
